There are loads of eating places in the zoo and lots of picnic areas if you wish to bring your own food. The shops by the exit are great, with a massive variety of products. For children, there are also several good play parks within the grounds, including an inside play area.

Colchester Zoo is situated on Maldon Road in Stanway. Car parking is free and disabled car parking spaces are available close to the zoo entrance.

Unfortunately there’s no discount for booking in advance online but it does give you fast track entry, handy on a busy day. And similarly you can’t use Tesco Clubcard vouchers or any other kind of coupons to get a discount.
Can you use Tesco vouchers at Whipsnade Zoo?
Tesco vouchers are only accepted for general admission tickets (excluding car entry) when purchased on the day of your visit at the main gate. They cannot be used as payment for London Zoo Lodges or any other ZSL experiences.
